Lake Tahoe

We are spending our last couple weeks in Utah vacationing....
Our first adventure began in Lake Tahoe where we attended Amy Sato's (devin's cousin) wedding. We all complained about the 10 hour car ride, but in the end, it turned out to be lots of fun! Lake Tahoe is amazing. It is mountain and beach all mixed into one. The lake is the bluest blue and the pine trees are so green. It was nice to escape the heat of Utah and mingle with some crisp mountain air. It was a short trip, but the wedding was so nice and it is always fun to chill with family. My favorite highlights of the trip were: listening to the bluegrass band (playing mostly songs from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack) while tasting the hors D'oeuvres and sipping drinks, taking a bike ride on a beach cruiser with all the siblings, and staying up into the wee hours chatting eventhough we were all too tired.
