to have a visit from doug & michi!
Hughie loved having grandma & grandpa around to play with (not to mention dig through their suitcases and jump on their bed). He would sit by grandpa doug each morning eyeing his computer and eventually the urge for electronics would overpower him and he would end up pushing the buttons. As usual...doug turned the kitchen table into his " work zone." Hugh loved "helping" by handing all doug's paperwork to him.
Michi, of course, was put to work. THANKS Michi! She cooked up a storm, including sweet rolls for the whole neighborhood, tri-tip, brownies, smothered baked potatoes, and delicious pear salad. She also insisted on planting some beautiful flowers in my garden area for me (since i had vowed not to go near plants or flowers since my stint with poison ivy) I do love having my coleus garden. It is vErY beautiful.
We were also able to go on a walk through the botanical gardens, catch some rain at the zoo, eat some scrumptious japanese & korean food (kimchee chigae....mmmh!), saturday morning farmer's market, visit Winter Quarters, and of course Devin & Doug went golfing. Best of all it was just so much fun to hang out!!
