what means the most to me

hughie is a frequent visitor to my bed at the 6 o'clock hour. {gotta love the AZ sun shining bright as day at 550am}.....soon to be earlier {yikes!} He insists on sleeping on MY pillow...and spooning/knees in my back. Don't get me wrong...i love the cuddles. especially during the winter when he cuddles with me from 7 to 8 while we ALL sleep in. The 550am cuddle while extremely pregnant.....mmmm..... Anyway.

After being awakened, I explained to him that the Easter Bunny came to our house last night. He was obviously in a deep ponder digesting this Easter Bunny business when he replied so seriously, "....Did he hop??" I couldn't help but giggle to myself at the sweet sincerity and innocence of this lovable little boy. He patiently waited for sis to wake up and then we all went on a hunt for his & tomi's Easter baskets.

We were able to spend the day with cousins, grandma kathy & papa Hugh. Hughie had the egg hunt down {especially by his 3rd hunt in 2 days }. He very willingly shares his candy eggs with Tomi and even "hid" eggs around the kitchen for Tomi to find. Tomi is very willing to rummage through his easter baskets and fit as many jelly beans possible in her mouth at the same time...later to be spit back out.

My highlight of this Easter was a night out with my older brother, Whit. He met with me to help me better understand the amazing Love of our Savior, Jesus Christ and the power of His Atonement. And the mercy & forgiveness that the Savior extends. My heart has truly been opened and is embarking on a journey to further know the beauty & power of Christ's Atonement. I already feel healing settling in.
