what means the most to me

Back to Back

we just returned from back to back trips to st. george. the first one was a 'reunion' of sorts with devin's friends from high school. ' the bOyS' were back together in rare form with their legendary inside jokes & unique personalities. We had 6 couples & 12 kids in one house! What a group of tight friends...where each of them feels 'at home' and where there is constant laughter! And what is even better...the wives all get along.

While the guys were out golfing the girlies were at home swimming and hanging out with the kids...come nap time we jumped at the chance to be kid free and went shopping & pedicures! We would grab take-out for dinner and eat at the park. Then after the kids went to bed we would play games or chat until the wee hours. Let's do it again!!

Our next weekend back to St. George was to watch the inspiring marathon runners -- one of those being Derek!!--- and to hang out with the Matsumori clan. It was a short trip, but we were able to swim, hang out, eat good food, and play with cousins! It is always very inspiring to watch marathoners approach the finish line. It is something that i would never attempt....let's work on running 1 mile first....but i am still very inspired by these people and what they can accomplish. It is amazing!
