personal tour guides

on our way home from utah...we made a "pit stop" in Washington DC to visit Misa, Jaime, & Thomas. It was so fun to hang out in a big city, see all the sites, and chill with their cute family. There is something to be said about "one on one" time with a particular family. ( that is why it is fun to visit people in their own home/atmosphere 'hint.hint')


There is that "chill' time at night and in the morning in your PJ's shootin the breeze. You really get to know each other better. It was so fun to see Thomas and hugh interact. I wish i had a picture...but Thomas has the cutest lips ever. He likes to enunciate his "u" sounds with his lips straight out in front! The whole time he was walking around saying "baby hugh" /"hughie" - it was so cute....He would say hugh's name in this sweet, tender voice and was so kind. He would always retrieve hughie's toys for him and was excited when hughie was up from his nap, etc.

misa & jamie were our personal tour guides. It was the best!! The first night we got there Jamie took us on a midnight drive by past all the monuments. They were all lit up and so beautiful. It was also fun to see how excited Jamie was to show us :)

Misa helped us plan out our days and would drop us off & pick us up. What a luxury! ....especially when traveling with a baby. Don't worry...we did take the metro, too. We had perfect weather....not too hot. No crowds. It was such a fun trip!
