Devin has found a love for pulling rotting teeth! He is working as a dental assistant at the U of U clinic this summer and is loving it. He assists new dentists straight out of dental school who are completing a one year residency to get some extra experience. Besides holding the suction and scraping teeth....the dentists have taught him to give 3 injections (numbing shots). Well today he pulled a rotted tooth all on his own. The dentist walked him through the steps and then sent him on his way to pull the tooth! With his nerves on edge he faked a calm demeanor and went through the steps to yank the tooth.....It was a success. Since he got home all he has been saying is, "I want to pull more teeth!" This job has intensified his excitement to be a dentist.

Hey our long lost cousins!!! I came across your site while blog stalking!!! So glad to see you're a blogger:) We must have missed the family memo on li'l Hugh...congrats!!! Hey and when you guys move out to our neck of the woods we'll have to meet up somewhere in the middle...Omaha's not to far from Kansas City. Anyway...congrats again and keep in touch!
Seriously... that is just sick. nasty rotting teeth! yucky! Someday we will hang out and Debo can tell me all about this "intriguing" experience
