This blog is dedicated to those that couldn't make it this year to the St. George Open. Namely Lucas, since he requested that I post pics on our blog. It was a weekend of irresponsibility and recreation. The first day Team Yosh and Debo defeated Team Tyler, In-dawg, and Dr. Smart by one stroke at Sky Mountain golf course. Once Tap, Deej, and Sammy showed up we took to the volleyball courts where a perfect display of "letting it go to your head" ended in pure domination. Tap's trash talking fueled a fire inside of the opposition and was subject to spikes in his face for the remainder of the night. Halo, cards, and pounding mad junk food kept us up until late into the night. The second day of golf resulted in a win by Team Tyler, In-dawg, and Tap over Team Yosh, Sammy, and Debo again by one stroke. Once again volleyball followed and Yosh, Debo, and In-dawg were triumphant. And what better way to end the trip with a few good rolls of sushi. Some of the better moments of the trip were: Yosh accusing Sam of being a crappy card player even though Sam beat him, Dave steathily taking over Tyler's bed, and DJ and Sam's fight over shotgun. That comment about Devin, Yosh, and Indo being triumphant the second time we played volleyball is a complete lie! The play was suspended due to sprinkler interference, and if anyone was declared a winner, it was Tyler, Tap, Sam, and Deej because momentum was on our side!
Another good moment was dinner at the Hawaiian BBQ where the karaoke music was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation unless you yelled at the top of your lungs right into the other person's ear. Also, the karaoke was run by some white, middle-aged, super-dork that gave Sam attitude when Sam asked what other music he had. "I dont know you dumb-a**, look in the book yourself, ya jackass!"
Another good memory is Tap and I stuck in a ravine on the golf course trying to climb a rocky hill in the cart. All Devin, Yosh, and Sam (the group behind us) could see were massive clouds of dust emerging from the ravine.
Hey, that place looks familiar... sounds like you guys had a blast! It's been years since seeing you all and it's so fun to see the pictures of you guys. Jared and I just got into the world of blogging. I was looking on Dede's blog and had to check out your blog. I hope Becca's doing well and dealing with the heat. Take care!
